Graphite electrode news: Fangda graphite electrodes roasting factory was built and put into operation
In September 2020, the new high pressure impregnation and secondary roasting tunnel kiln project of Fangda Carbon with a total investment of 110 million yuan is officially started, which is equivalent to building a production base with an annual output of 20,000 tons of carbon products after the project is completed and put into operation.
The original three impregnation lines and four secondary roasting production lines in Fangda graphite electrodes roasting factory have been in operation for more than 10 years, and the aging equipment has become the bottleneck restricting the development. In order to break the bottleneck, the enterprise held a proposal demonstration meeting many times and finally decided to start the new high pressure impregnation and secondary roasting tunnel kiln project.
The Fangda graphite electrodes equipment Department and the roasting factory have completed the investigation and approval, process configuration design, equipment selection design, equipment bidding and contract signing, plant and supporting facilities design, plant and supporting facilities construction application and many other works.
It is understood that the new upper high pressure impregnation system adopts the technology of Germany, adopts the hot in and cold out process, and the second roasting tunnel kiln adopts the pressurized roasting process. It is designed and implemented in accordance with the principles of practicality, reliability and economy. The project is scheduled to be completed before August 15, 2021. After the project is put into operation, it can effectively alleviate the short slabs with insufficient capacity of impregnation and secondary roasting in the roasting plant, and increase the output of finished products by 20,000 tons/year, including 12,000 tons/year of graphite electrode and 8,000 tons/year of carbon brick.
