Calcined petroleum coke

Calcined petroleum coke is the raw material for manufacturing electrode paste and graphite electrodes. Petroleum coke (green coke) must be calcined. The calcining temperature is generally 1300°C. The most widely used is low-sulfur calcined petroleum coke (sulfur content S<3%), which is used as a raw material for graphite electrode production.
